Begin date: 5/1/2026 Full Time: Yes Number of Workers Requested: 7 Job Duties: Manually plant, cultivate, and harvest vegetables, fruits, horticultural specialties, and field crops. Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives. Duties may include tilling soil and applying fertilizers; transplanting, weeding, thinning, or pruning crops; applying pesticides; or cleaning, grading, sorting, packing, and loading harvested products. Harvest vegetables according to size, shape and degree of maturity. Place vegetables into field containers. May construct trellises, repair fences and farm buildings, or participate in irrigation activities. The employer, at no cost, will provide any tools or equipment necessary to perform required tasks to the worker. Tasks will be related to a diverse variety of fruit and vegetable. Workers will participate in all aspects of fruit and vegetable production work, including but not limited to: greenhouse seeding; high tunnel weed control; bed renovation; application of row covers, stakes, mulches and trellises; transplanting of vegetables; installation of drip lines and headers; and hoeing / weeding. Participate in the harvest and packing responsibilities by maintaining a neatly organized and clean harvest and storage environment and maintain harvest lists. All work must be performed carefully according to instructions to avoid damage or harm to crops. Employer will comply with re-entry restrictions applicable to pesticides and other chemicals used in the field. Must be able to listen to, understand and follow simple instructions to ensure all work meets employer's quality standards and food safety standards. Workers may not report for work while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The possession or use of illegal drugs or alcohol (exception is made for moderate alcohol consumption in company housing during non-working hours) on company property is prohibited and will be cause for termination. This job requires two months (or 320 hours) of verifiable experience. Applicants must be able to furnish verifiable job reference(s) or comparable third-party documentation from recent employer(s) establishing acceptable prior experience, if applicable. Pay rate, raises and/or bonuses, greater than the wage rate listed, may be offered to any seasonal worker employed pursuant to this job order, at the company's sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. Employer retains the right to discharge an obviously unqualified worker, malingerer or recalcitrant worker who is physically able but does not demonstrate the willingness to perform the work necessary for the employer to grow a premium quality product, violates employer’s work rules (provided to workers prior to commencement of work) or for any other lawful reason. All terms and conditions of the job order will apply equally to all workers, both U.S. and H-2A workers, employed in the occupation described in this clearance order. Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry 75 pounds; crouch, squat and bend for long periods of time. A designated farm crew leader or supervisor will provide instructions and general supervision. Technical horticultural activities will be closely supervised; however, workers will be expected to perform their general duties as quickly and efficiently as possible without close supervision. During busy planting/harvest season workers may be requested to start earlier and work more than the scheduled 40 hours per week. When weather is hot, starting and ending times may be shifted to earlier or later in the day. This may vary depending on crop and weather conditions. Number of Hours Per Week: 40 Work Schedule (Start/End time): 7:30 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.
