Land Development Project Manager to become an integral part of our growing team in

As a
Land Development Project Manager, you'll take on a critical role in driving the success of key residential and commercial projects. From planning and execution to project completion, you will lead the coordination of efforts across teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You’ll also help grow our regional presence, working alongside the Office Manager to guide and mentor a talented team of engineers and designers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.
- Collaborate with the Office Manager to identify and mitigate potential project risks, maintaining smooth project flow.
- Foster strong communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to keep all parties informed of progress, challenges, and milestones.
- Deliver insightful updates on key project metrics, providing actionable data to support decision-making and drive project success.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed quality standards, implementing effective quality control measures.
- Drive financial oversight by managing project budgets, tracking costs, and identifying opportunities for savings while ensuring accurate invoicing.
- Navigate project complexities by proactively addressing challenges, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Support and mentor a growing team of engineers and designers, ensuring collaborative success across all project aspects.
- Play a vital role in marketing and securing new business, leveraging your existing relationships within the Nevada region to grow Civil Science's presence.
Minimum Qualifications
- Nevada Professional Engineer License (or ability to obtain through reciprocity within six months).
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Land Development.
- Proven ability to lead projects in civil engineering services, including land development design, surveying, construction oversight, and planning.
- Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Experience using project management tools and methodologies to drive efficiency and success.
- Established relationships with Nevada clients, municipalities, districts, and agencies.
- A track record of successful proposal writing, contract management, and client relationship development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Civil3D design software and familiarity with Nevada drainage law and municipal design codes.
