You will also build strategic collaborations across the University, industry, and international partners to strengthen the College's research and teaching impact.
As a Professor in Software Engineering, you will also:
- Gain significant external competitive research grants and contributing to growth in Flinders' research income.
- Mentor junior academic colleagues in the College, especially academic staff in computing including co-publishing, co-supervision and co-submission of external competitive grants.
- Provide administrative leadership as required in relation to the Computing and Mathematics teaching program and associated research section.

About You:
You are a distinguished academic with a strong international reputation in software engineering and/or cloud computing, with demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and leadership.
You will also demonstrate:
- Completion of a PhD, or equivalent qualification in an area of computing relevant to software engineering and/or cloud computing.
- A distinguished track record of research and competitive external grant success, with supervision of honours and doctoral students.
- Outstanding teaching and educational leadership, including curriculum development, innovative delivery, and mentoring of colleagues.
