Role DescriptionCarpenter (ANZSCO 331212)Key Duties & Responsibilities are consistent with ANZSCO 331212 job description and include but are not limited to the following:
Study drawings, plans, specifications, and building codes to determine construction requirements
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join timber and other materials using hand and power tools
Construct, install, and repair building frameworks, including walls, floors, roofs, and formwork
Install fixtures such as doors, windows, staircases, cabinetry, and cladding
Carry out renovations, repairs, and maintenance of existing structures
Ensure all work complies with Australian Building Codes, safety standards, and WHS requirements
Coordinate with site supervisors, builders, and other trades to ensure timely project completion
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe worksite
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 5 years of relevant carpentry experience
Trade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate III or overseas equivalent)
Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
White Card (mandatory)
Driver’s licence preferred
Ability to work independently and within a team
Functional English communication skills
Overseas applicants with relevant qualifications and experience are encouraged to apply
