Job Description:
Location - London or Winchester (hybrid working with a MINIMUM in office requirement of 3 days (60%) per week) LCP is an award-winning consultancy providing advice on pensions, investments, insurance, energy, health analytics and employee benefits, advising nearly one quarter of the FTSE250 and half of the FTSE100 firms. We are a team of over 1200 across our offices in London and Winchester and currently have an exciting opportunity for an Investment Operations Analyst to join our Investment Consulting division! What's the role? The Operations Analyst team sits within the Investment Consulting department at LCP and focusses on specialising in a range of “middle office” tasks such as regular annual reporting (i.e. Report & Accounts, Implementation Statements, Scheme Returns), as well as asset transfers and performance monitoring for our investment consulting clients. The team also aids consulting clients by updating LCP monitoring software (such as Monitor and Visualise) and looks to find efficiencies within the department, as well as ensuring all clients are receiving a high-quality service from the investment department. What will you be doing?
  • Drafting regulatory submissions/documents e.g. statement of investment principles, TCFD reports, stewardship reports, report and accounts, implementation statements etc.
  • Drafting and helping to oversee asset transfers between investment managers and liaise with managers during the transfers
  • Calculating investment performance figures for performance monitoring purposes
  • Updating LCP investment tools such as LCP Monitor and LCP Visualise, and utilise external systems such as Bloomberg and UBS Delta to support client team’s reporting demands
  • Gathering updates from fund managers with a view to supporting regular research monitoring and other client reporting demands

What skills, qualities and experience are we looking for?
  • College, degree educated or with existing translatable experience
  • Numerate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work to strict deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office and project management skills
  • Team player with a willingness to share ideas with others
  • Commitment to delivering high quality work to clients
