About The Role
As a Bridge Engineer at Civil Science, you’ll play a key role in
planning, designing, constructing, maintaining, and inspecting critical transportation structures. Your projects will include
bridges, tunnels, highways, and other infrastructure that directly impact communities. From conceptual design to delivering detailed construction documents, your expertise will be the backbone of some of the most rewarding projects in the region.
What You’ll Work On
- Bridges: Precast/prestressed concrete, cast-in-place concrete, and steel.
- Retaining Walls: MSE walls, cast-in-place concrete, and soil nails.
- Box Culverts and Drainage Structures.
What You Bring
- Current Professional Engineer License with the ability to obtain licensure in Utah and Idaho within six months.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Bridge Engineering.
- Proficiency with the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and familiarity with AASHTO Guide Specifications for LRFD Seismic Bridge Design.
- Hands-on experience with UDOT, ITD, and local municipal agencies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
