Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Sacramento, CA (Onsite/Hybrid/Remote – Based on Client Requirement)
Job Type: Contract / Full-time
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, and scripting.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Monitor system performance, logs, and security using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
Work with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for infrastructure deployment and management.
Implement security best practices and manage IAM roles, policies, and access controls.
Optimize application performance and scalability using autoscaling and load balancing.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth DevOps workflows and automation.
Required Skills & Experience:
✅ 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
✅ Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services.
✅ Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, etc.).
✅ Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
✅ Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
✅ Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
✅ Knowledge of networking, firewalls, DNS, and security best practices.
✅ Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK Stack, Datadog).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd, or Consul).
Knowledge of serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).
Exposure to Big Data or AI/ML pipeline automation.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Education & Certifications:
🎓 Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
🎓 Preferred: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Kubernetes Certifications (CKA/CKAD).
