[What the role is] The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore's raison d'etre is to develop the air hub and aviation industry in Singapore, expanding Singapore's links to the rest of the world. [What you will be working on] As part of the team, you will primarily be responsible for the safety oversight of flight crew with regards to personnel licensing and training. This includes developing and reviewing policies and procedures, and promulgating rules and guidance materials related to training methodologies leading to the qualification of flight crew, instructors and examiners, and the approval and oversight of flight training organisations. Duties also include the surveillance of flight training organisations to ensure compliance to the regulatory requirements, as well as conducting investigation of pilots involved in incidents and accidents. [What we are looking for] Good interpersonal and analytical skills and ability to communicate at all levels, both verbally and in writing
Preferably with experience in civil aviation management, flight operations, regulatory work or in flight training
Candidates who possess flying experience will have an added advantage
RSAF officers or Overseas applicants with relevant experience in flight training or as a pilot may be considered
