Senior Software Engineer - US Relocation (New York/San Francisco)

The CompanyWe're recruiting on behalf of a US-based AI startup that automates critical operational workflows for the Housing and Healthcare industries. They've just hit $200M ARR, raised a $250M Series E, and have grown 100% year on year for five consecutive years. Around 500 people, headquartered in New York with a growing San Francisco engineering base.
The OpportunityThey're bringing Australian engineers into their New York and San Francisco teams. There are several open roles spanning backend and full-stack engineering, including a founding-team opportunity on a newer product line. Rather than pinning you to one narrow job description, we'll have a conversation about your background and figure out together which team and role makes the most sense.
About You

• 4+ years of production engineering experience
• Strong fundamentals in backend (Python, Java, C#, Go) or full-stack (TypeScript, React) development
• Genuine use of AI tools in your day-to-day workflow
• A strong sense of ownership: you'd rather build the thing than wait for someone to hand you a spec
• Open to relocating to New York or San Francisco, comfortable in-office 5 days a week
• Must be an Australian citizen (required for E3 visa eligibility)

• USD $240k–$280k base salary plus equity (80% RSUs / 20% options)
