Job Description:
ConsultANZis looking for an experienced Water Project Manager with strong project control expertise for a position in New Zealand. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in water infrastructure projects and be a skilled team player, ready to contribute to the delivery of high-quality, impactful civil works across the country. Main Duties * Lead and control the execution of water-related civil projects, ensuring strict adherence to project timelines, specifications, and budget constraints. * Manage and update project planning and programming using CCS Candy software, adapting plans as needed to reflect real-time changes. * Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project delivery and communication. * Oversee work progress both onsite and in the office, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards. * Contribute to the design and implementation of effective infrastructure solutions in a team-oriented, innovative environment. * Demonstrate autonomy and a hands-on, practical approach in managing pipework, concrete, and process-related systems (M&E). Requirements * Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in civil construction, specifically in water-related infrastructure projects. * Proficient in CCS Candy project planning software. * Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or related field. * Solid background in civil contracting, with proven experience in managing teams and programming projects. * Practical experience with pipework, concrete works, and mechanical & electrical systems. * Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work both on-site and in-office environments, showing autonomy and corporate experience.
