Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, managing food production, and fostering a positive environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency. Duties
  • Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
  • Supervise and train staff in bartending, food preparation, and customer service techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the restaurant.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimise waste.
  • Develop and implement training programmes for team members to enhance their skills in hospitality and food production.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and collaboration among staff.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures to achieve operational goals.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Previous experience in supervising staff is essential; experience in bartending is an advantage.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
