OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, managing food production, and fostering a positive environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency.
Duties- Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
- Supervise and train staff in bartending, food preparation, and customer service techniques.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the restaurant.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimise waste.
- Develop and implement training programmes for team members to enhance their skills in hospitality and food production.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and collaboration among staff.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures to achieve operational goals.
Requirements- Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Previous experience in supervising staff is essential; experience in bartending is an advantage.
