OverviewWe are looking to recruit a cook to join our care home. Experience in this area is essential. Level 3 in food hygiene desirable. Duties to include:

• Cook main meals to cater for the different needs of our residents.
• Order stock and complete stock checks
• Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy to high standards
• Complete all training given
• Prepare tea time meals
• Baking

As a Chef, you will play a vital role in creating delicious dishes that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of quality in the kitchen. Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
• Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items to enhance the dining experience.
• Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control and ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with care staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service on time for residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
• Monitor food presentation and quality before serving to ensure consistency and excellence.

Hourly wage depends on experience.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
