Exciting Opportunity for Special Education Teachers in MelbourneAre you a teacher looking for rewarding work in Melbourne? 

Prospero Teaching are collaborating with local schools who are looking for SEN Teachers on a full-time contract or permanent basis, starting either immediately of from Term 2. We are partnered with special development schools & mainstream schools who are looking for qualified Primary & Secondary Teachers who can make a difference. Our partner schools allow you the opportunity to not only develop professionally but also bring about meaningful change to a variety of learners, with additional learning requirements.
Your Role:

• Foster a positive & inclusive learning space.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support.
• Help with classroom activities & behaviour management.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, & parents.
• Monitor and report on student progress.

Requirements

• Appropriate teaching registration (or eligibility to obtain) your VIT.
• Full Australian working rights
• Available now or for Term 2, 2026
• Two professional references
• Bachelor of Education or relevant degree + teaching qualification
• Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
