Job Description:
Position: IAM Support Engineer (ID Proofing) Location: 100% Remote (EST time zone) Contract Duration: 6 Month -Contract to Hire (must be able to convert FTE after 6 months)
Citizenship: USC, Green Card or H1b Visa’s (no OPT)
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated ID Proofing Support Engineer for a remote, contract-to-hire opportunity. This role will support our Identity & Access Management (IAM) initiatives with a strong focus on ID Proofing tools and workflows. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Jumio or similar ID proofing technologies and a solid foundation in IAM principles. Familiarity with Java and experience with the Ping Identity suite are considered strong assets.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in IAM engineering or support roles, with a focus on identity verification and proofing. Hands-on experience with ID Proofing tools (e.g., Jumio, Onfido, ID.me, etc.). Solid understanding of IAM principles, including authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work across teams and stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with or supporting the Ping Identity suite (e.g., PingOne, PingID, PingFederate). Basic to intermediate experience with Java (reading/debugging, API integration). Exposure to cloud identity platforms and API-based authentication models.
