Please note:*** Candidates with less than 5 years of substation design experience will not be considered.***Experience limited to industrial, manufacturing, or LV/MV distribution is not a fit.*** Candidates employed by utilities may be considered if they have strong consulting-style design Key Responsibilities:Lead substation physical and/or protection & control (P&C) design efforts.Develop electrical engineering deliverables using tools such as CYME.Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource planning.Interface directly with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.Oversee QA/QC processes and mentor junior engineers.Support renewable energy integration and grid modernization projects. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.5+ years of HV utility substation design experience (69kV–500kV or EHV 500kV+), either in physical or protection & control design.Prior experience with a consulting engineering firm on utility substation projects required.PE license or ability to obtain PE within 1–2 years required.Strong project leadership and QA/QC experience highly desirable.
