Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team for a large-scale solution. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python (Spark), Cloudera framework, Databricks, Microsoft Azure, NiFi (or similar technology), and Data Mesh.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python (Spark) within the Cloudera framework.
Initially work within the Cloudera framework, with a planned migration to Databricks later in the project.
Utilize Microsoft Azure for data processing and storage solutions.
Implement and manage data flows .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.
Implement best practices for data management and security.
Develop data products within a Data Mesh architecture.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Python (Spark) and experience with Cloudera framework.
Hands-on experience with Databricks and Microsoft Azure.
Strong understanding of big data technologies and large-scale data processing.
Strong experience with SQL.
Knowledge of NiFi is a nice to have.
Experience with Data Mesh architecture and developing data products.
Knowledge of tools such as Jira and Confluence is considered an asset.
Experience with Agile frameworks, specifically SCRUM, is a must.
Excellent communication skills in English.
