About the RoleWe're seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with Australian accounting and taxation requirements while partnering with teams across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain the general ledger and reconcile financial accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable while monitoring cash flow.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Prepare BAS, GST reports, and support tax compliance.
- Coordinate month-end and year-end close activities.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Monitor financial controls and recommend process improvements.
- Analyse financial performance and provide business insights.
- Ensure compliance with AASB, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with procurement, supply chain, and operations teams on cost management and inventory accounting.
What You'll Bring- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of accounting or finance experience.
- CPA Australia or CA qualification (or progress toward certification) is highly regarded.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills.
- Knowledge of AASB, GST, and Australian taxation requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
