Job Title: Brand Marketing Manager

Salary: £34,500 to £44,850 per annum

Location: Cambridge/Hybrid (2-3 days per week in Cambridge)

Contract: Full time/Fixed Term (up to 2 years)

About The Role

As Brand Marketing Manager, you will manage the effective execution of the International Education brand internally, and support on planning and execution of brand campaigns to build our brand globally and position us in a way that helps us grow in a competitive sector, supports our schools and builds our reputation.

In this critical role you will lead the brand team's internal engagement with colleagues to ensure brand consistency, play a pivotal role in managing and executing our brand strategy and help us build meaningful brand partnerships.

Key accountabilities include:

Brand implementation

  • Champion the International Education brand across teams and regions.
  • Deliver internal training and guidance to ensure consistent application of the brand.
  • Lead on managing brand queries from colleagues across International Education, including regional marketing teams.
  • Manage projects to develop assets to support the brand strategy, for example brand messaging, photography and templates.
  • Support brand campaign planning and content creation.
  • Monitor competitor brand activity and share insights.

Brand partnerships & events

  • Support the development and approval of new brand partnerships, in line with our brand partnership framework
  • Work with our Head of Community & Advocacy to align community and advocacy initiatives with brand objectives.
  • Work with our Senior Events Manager on our awards strategy to ensure brand alignment.

Measuring success

  • Support the tracking and communication of brand performance metrics
  • Champion the success of successful brand campaigns internally.

Managing suppliers

  • Assist in commissioning brand strategy and campaign suppliers.
  • Build strong relationships with agencies and freelancers.

About You

You are a responsible, creative, and collaborative team player, who is passionate about brand management and understands why consistency is fundamental to building a strong and trusted brand.

With proven experience in brand marketing or brand management, you put the customer at the heart at all you do and understand the importance of knowing their needs and challenges to produce thoughtful and impactful brand content. Alongside this you are a strong and persuasive communicator who is skilled at developing positive relationships across all levels. You are experienced at working with creative teams and external agencies and can manage multiple projects and priorities.

Your excellent communication skills, and eye for detail, mean you can write and edit to a high standard, draft engaging and compelling copy and present convincingly to internal stakeholders.

In addition to this you understand the challenges of building and maintaining a global brand with proven experience of working in an international environment. You'll use your brand management expertise to drive our mission forward.
