This role will report to the Executive Chef.
About YouThe ideal candidate will have flair, creativity and a genuine love for food, with demonstrated experience working in high volume venues producing a high quality menu.
- Minimum 2 year's experience as a Sous Chef in a similar fast-paced environment or someone looking to step up to the challenge.
- Experienced in menu design, creation and execution
- Keen eye for food trends and creative in plating.
- Experienced in overseeing mid-large in-house functions.
- Ability to lead and coach a diverse team of chefs and cooks.
- Experience managing financial budgets including food and labour costs is desirable
- Wiling to collaborate with senior venue management to align kitchen operations with overall venue goals and strategic direction
- organised in Rostering and other administrative tasks.
