Carpenter wanted

Sullivan Construction is a small, owner-operated carpentry and construction business specializing in residential renovations, extensions, framing, modular buildings, decks, roofing, home maintenance. Due to a growing workload and ongoing projects across the Northern Rivers of NSW, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. About the Role We are looking for a qualified Carpenter to work full time across varied residential and/or commercial job sites. The successful applicant will work independently and perform a wide range of carpentry tasks in line with industry standards and Australian building codes. Key Duties Include:

• Reading and interpreting building plans
• Constructing and installing wall frames, floors, ceilings, and roofing structures
• Installing doors, windows, mouldings, skirting boards, and fixtures
• Cutting, shaping, and assembling timber and other building materials
• Setting out and constructing formwork for concrete structures
• Measuring and marking materials accurately
• Using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry machinery safely
• Ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with WHS regulations
• Working independently on job sites as required

Skills & Experience Required:

• Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant carpentry experience
• Ability to read construction drawings
• Strong understanding of Australian building standards and practices
• Competence in using carpentry tools and equipment
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Current driver’s license + Car

Salary & Conditions

• Salary: $73,150 – $85,000 + superannuation
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Overtime available as required
• All terms and conditions comply with the Building and Construction General On-Site Award 2020
