Are you a motivated and experienced physiotherapist ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? We’re looking for a dynamic individual to lead our dedicated team supporting respiratory and surgical patients at King’s Mill Hospital.
As the ICU and Surgery Physiotherapy Team Lead, you will:
Manage a team of qualified and non-qualified staff delivering care to respiratory and surgical patients
Provide strong clinical leadership and ensure adherence to clinical governance standards
Support recruitment, retention, and development of Band 5 and Band 6 physiotherapists
Play a key role in service planning, delivery, and evaluation for both inpatient and outpatient care
Participate in the respiratory on-call rota
You will also contribute to the ongoing development of high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services, ensuring alignment with national standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver effective physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and orthotic interventions to maximise patient outcomes
Lead training and education for therapy, medical, nursing, and allied health staff
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery
Support the development of new ways of working across the therapy service
