About the RoleYou’ll be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and production files for custom joinery projects.
We’re seeking someone with solid
Microvellum experience who understands joinery from the ground up and takes pride in precision, quality and craftsmanship.
Position Details:- Type: Permanent, Full-Time
- Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm (Monday to Friday)
- Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 (negotiable, based on experience)
- Location: Warriewood, Northern Beaches
Key Responsibilities- Create accurate, detailed technical drawings and plans using Microvellum CAD software
- Interpret sketches, concepts and specifications into production-ready drawings
- Prepare and maintain organised drawing files and documentation
- Collaborate closely with workshop and production teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Revise and update drawings as needed, ensuring all standards are met
- Assist with CNC integration (Biesse) and ensure smooth file transfer to machines
Skills & Experience- Minimum 3+ years’ experience with Microvellum (essential)
- Solid understanding of joinery and cabinetry construction principles
- Experience with Biesse CNC machinery (basic operation level)
- 3–5 years CAD drafting experience in the kitchen or cabinetry industry
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communication, organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
- For the right person, visa sponsorship may be available under an Australian skilled migration program
