Job Description:
Begin date: 5/1/2026 Full Time: Yes Number of Workers Requested: 1 Job Duties: Workers will assist with all aspects of wheat and hay cultivation on a family-owned farm in Williston, North Dakota. Job duties include field preparation, operating agricultural equipment for planting, irrigating, and harvesting, as well as performing other seasonal farm work essential to crop production. Workers will operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, combines, and balers. Tasks also involve loading and unloading agricultural products, cleaning equipment, clearing fields, and preparing crops for storage. Workers may be required to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and walking in varied outdoor conditions. Assistance with irrigation systems includes setting up, monitoring, and adjusting equipment as needed to maintain field moisture levels. All work will be performed under close supervision, with on-the-job training provided. Duties are subject to change based on seasonal demands and weather conditions. Workers must follow all safety instructions and perform tasks efficiently to ensure successful crop cultivation and harvest throughout the employment period. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday. Job Classification: 45-2091.00 - Agricultural Equipment Operators Experience Required: No Special Requirements: No experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain. Skill Level I Entry Level Pursuant to the Interim Final Rule (IFR) implementing the new four-level wage system for H-2A occupations, the employer designates this position as Skill Level I Entry Level, indicating that the job requires limited experience and routine supervision consistent with entry-level duties. The employer reserves the right to withhold the applicable housing deduction as permitted under program regulations, when approved and disclosed in the job order. Number of Hours Per Week: 70 Work Schedule (Start/End time): 7:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
