Key Responsibilities is to support to:- Work closely with the church leadership team to ensure the children and Teen’s ministry aligns with the vision and goals of Calvary Deliverance Ministries.
- Lead, develop, and oversee the Children and Teensministry program for children ages up to age 17 of the church.
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate biblical lessons, activities, and worship during church services and special events.
- Create a fun, welcoming, and safe environment where children can learn and experience the love of Christ.
- Organize and lead special children’s events, including Vacation Bible School (VBS), camps, holiday programs, and community outreach.
- Provide pastoral care and support to children and their families, building relationships within the church community.
- Equip and empower parents to foster spiritual growth in their children at home.
- Ensure all children’s ministry programs comply with church policies, particularly child safety protocols.
Qualifications:- A degree qualification in Education, Early Childhood Development, or related fields (preferred but not required).
- Prior experience in children’s ministry leadership or education (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teaching skills.
- Creativity and enthusiasm in developing programs and lessons that capture the attention and hearts of children.
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a strong passion for children’s ministry.
- Should understand what it means to keep children safe and must comply with church Health and Safety policies of the church.
- A nurturing, patient, and approachable personality with a genuine love for children
