Technical Security Consultant

As part of our digital growth strategy, we’re seeking a Technical Security Consultant to strengthen our cybersecurity posture and protect our digital platforms.You’ll work closely with leadership and operations teams to secure our booking systems, driver apps, and customer databases. Your expertise will help shape secure digital workflows, enhance customer trust, and support the firm’s long-term growth.What You’ll Do

• Design and implement security protocols across digital platforms
• Conduct risk assessments and threat modelling for sensitive data
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities
• Advise on secure integration of third-party APIs and payment systems
• Collaborate with our Digital Business Analyst and developers to embed security into workflows
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, PCI-DSS, and other relevant standards
• Deliver staff training on cybersecurity best practices and data protection

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (RQF Level 6)
• Proven experience in digital or business security
• Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and firewalls
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and penetration testing
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) and DevSecOps practices
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
