Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail, ensuring that our store operates efficiently while providing a welcoming environment for customers. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage a diverse team and drive sales through effective management strategies. Duties

• Supervise daily operations of the retail store, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Manage and motivate a team of store assistants, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
• Maintain high standards of customer service by training staff in phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Organise staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times while managing labour costs effectively.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels to ensure product availability.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for senior management, identifying areas for improvement.

Experience

• Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role is essential.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff at all levels; multilingual abilities are an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in sales management, with a track record of achieving sales goals.
• Proficient in using retail management software and point-of-sale systems is desirable.
