We’re hiring for a leading UK-based semiconductor company with over 30 years of innovation in energy-efficient processor design, powering billions of devices globally.
We’re seeking an experienced Systems Architect to join their Central Technology Group in Cambridge, driving next-gen smartphone and tablet SoC architecture with a focus on performance and power efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

• Define technology roadmaps in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
• Develop end-to-end platform architecture across hardware, software, and tools.
• Drive alignment across architecture, core tech, and IP teams to support mobile and large-screen compute SoCs.
• Evaluate IP and architectural proposals, providing strong technical leadership.
• Represent the company in high-level customer engagements.
• Produce architecture specifications and lead early-stage development.
• Design experiments and tools to explore architectural trade-offs.
• Clearly communicate complex concepts to technical and business audience.

. What We’re Looking For:

• Extensive experience in SoC architecture for smartphones or tablets
• Strong technical depth and cross-functional leadership skills
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Bachelor’s degree in EE, CE, CS, or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred)
