We are seeking qualified applicants who are experienced and passionate about early childhood education and who can display genuine and nurturing early childhood skills.Candidates must hold a minimum qualification of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.You will be required to display a strong strengths-based approach to your role and have
excellent communication skills, a nurturing nature, and the ability to develop strong family partnerships - these are at the core of everything we do.
- You need to have prior experience and be able to present a resume that clearly outlines this experience.
- A minimum of 2 years' prior experience in early childhood education is required.
- We are only seeking positive, professional, and dedicated individuals - we love what we do and want to be surrounded by other upbeat personalities!
- Knowledge of the EYLF and the ability to lead the curriculum and documentation is required, and also if you are applying for the co-educator role you should still have a solid understanding of the EYLF, as we use a collaborative team-based approach.
- An ability to interpret curriculum documents and a clear understanding of the planning cycle would also be expected. We can provide mentoring in this process, but a willingness to upskill is desired.
- It would be best if you were committed to ongoing learning and professional development as again this is at the core of our beliefs in that as early childhood professionals, we never stop learning.
- You must hold all the mandatory requirements of our legislative guidelines; blue card, first aid, child protection training and be able to commit to the centre in a long-term capacity - as consistency for the children and their families is extremely important to us and our teams become like our second family.
- Australian work rights are required, with valid work visas acceptable for international candidates.
- The ability to work five days a week is also preferred for consistency of care for our children and families.
- Your resume must have references that we can call upon to validate your experience and attitude.
