Client : TCS Title : Business Analyst with Mortgage Domain (Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae) Location : McLean, VA ( Onsite) Duration : 6 Months Visa Status : H1B Relevant Experience: Detailed Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in the Mortgage industry, ideally with exposure to Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae processes. This individual will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, leveraging their understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Modern Delivery practices to define, document, and deliver scalable, customer-centric solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a bridge between business and IT teams, translating business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications.
• Perform end-to-end business analysis including:
• Requirements gathering
• Process and data flow design
• Feasibility analysis
• Defining project objectives
• Write and maintain detailed user stories, ensuring alignment with both business functionality and technical capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Development Leads to define technical specs for Webservices and APIs.
• Support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases.
• Create UAT strategies, test plans, and test scripts.
• Assist in validating both manual and automation testing efforts.
• Leverage expertise in mortgage domain (preferably Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae) to guide decision-making and solutioning.
• Champion Modern Delivery practices, advocating for continuous improvement and customer-centric development.
• Work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to support story refinement, sprint planning, and release planning.
• Use tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Agile boards for tracking and documentation.

Must-Have Specific Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Mortgage or Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, or similar mortgage systems and processes.
• Solid knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Modern Delivery methodologies.
• Writing technical specifications and user stories
• Conducting business process modeling
• Translating complex business needs into actionable technical requirements
• Experience working with APIs, web services, and integration testing.
• Proficient in UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
• Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional Agile teams.
