Hiring Chefs Mylk Bar are currently seeking enthusiastic & self-motivated hospitality professionals to expand our current team. With 4 locations in the City, North Adelaide & Hindmarsh we are looking for people who are passionate about hospitality. Chefs about the role:

• To manage the operation of the kitchen, with accountability for achievement of the café’s business objectives
• To maximize revenue opportunities by both fulfilling and building upon customer's food service needs
• Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes in accordance with the cafe's menu, including daily specials.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared with attention to detail, presentation, and taste.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, delegating tasks as necessary.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation standards to ensure consistency.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Work closely with the manager to plan and execute special events and promotions.
• Monitor and manage food costs and portion control to minimize waste.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation procedures.

To be considered for this position, you must-:

• have previous experience in the industry or in a similar role (at least 1 year)
• have relevant qualifications or skills
• be self-motivated, creative, confident and enthusiastic
• be a team player
• have food safety supervisor certificate

The successful candidates will support and assist our management team in day-to-day operations of the venue with a high focus on customer experience and positive team culture. Full-time options available with a competitive salary negotiable based on experience. Availability across a 7-day roster required. Must be eligible to work in Australia.
