Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

This unique opportunity is rare to find in the market. As part of a close-knit group treasury team, you will work with the Group Treasury team to take our treasury function to the next level of maturity and develop a Centre of Excellence for our global operations.

You will take full ownership of the treasury front and mid office operations, including but not limited to cashflow forecast and liquidity management, foreign exchange management, funding and cash investment management, transactional banking relationships and intercompany fundings.

Project assistance will also form a key part of the role with an exciting pipeline of treasury projects.

Aligned with the level of the role, we envision that the base salary will be between NZD $85,600 – $128,400, depending on skills and experience. This is a full‑time, permanent position with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

To be successful in this role ideally you will have:

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • 2-5 years of Treasury experience
  • CAANZ/CPA/CFA qualified or studying towards your qualification

  • Comfortable working with very sensitive and confidential data with the ability to maintain a high degree of discretion
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, work ethic, organisational skills, attention to detail, decision making skills and ability to work well with others

  • Ability to complete tasks that span from routine to thought-provoking
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
