About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Vocational Education Teacher to join our Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in the Bankstwon or NSW regional area. This full-time role is responsible for delivering nationally recognised training and assessment in accordance with the Standards for RTOs 2025 and relevant Training Package requirements. Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare and deliver structured vocational education and training programs in classroom, practical, workplace-based and/or online environments- Conduct student competency assessments using approved tools and methodologies in line with the VET Quality Framework- Provide feedback and learning support to students, including identifying individual learning needs, to facilitate successful course completion- Maintain accurate student records, attendance data and assessment documentation in accordance with regulatory and organisational requirements- Participate in assessment validation, moderation and continuous improvement activities to support quality and compliance outcomes- Review and contribute to training and assessment materials to ensure they remain current, compliant and industry-relevant- Liaise with industry stakeholders to ensure training delivery reflects current workplace practices and Training Package requirements- Maintain vocational competency, trainer/assessor currency and ongoing professional development as required- Ensure all training and assessment activities comply with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and relevant legislation
Requirements- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent), or currently undertaking with demonstrated progress toward completion- Relevant qualification in education, training or a related vocational field- Demonstrated experience in vocational teaching, instructional delivery or adult education- Working knowledge of the Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) system and regulatory requirements- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills- Ability to engage and support students from diverse cultural, educational and language backgrounds
