  • Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Prepare, cook, and present a variety of high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications
  • Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and excellence in taste and presentation
  • Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and allergen controls
  • Train and mentor junior staff to develop their culinary skills and knowledge
  • Coordinate with suppliers for ingredient procurement and inventory management
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
  • Assist in menu planning, development, and innovation to keep offerings fresh and appealing
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a professional kitchen setting, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Supervising experience is highly desirable
  • Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and suppliers
  • A genuine passion for culinary arts and hospitality excellence
