Join us in making a difference

At the heart of trivago’s global marketing success, the Marketing Strategy and Intelligence team thrives as a unique blend of data and business expertise. As a Data Product Manager, you’ll shape and drive our suite of data-driven marketing products and tools—such as attribution models, conversion prediction models, and forecasting solutions—that enable decision intelligence across our global marketing efforts. Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders, your mission is to craft innovative solutions to complex marketing challenges, making a profound impact on strategic decisions. If you’re eager to grow, embrace challenges, and deliver meaningful changes, this is your chance to excel.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Shape product strategy: Develop and continuously refine a compelling vision and roadmap for data-driven marketing products and tools, ensuring alignment with broader business and marketing objectives
  • Enable user-centricity: Translate business goals into actionable product features by working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deeply understand user needs
  • Manage product backlog: Own and prioritize the product backlog, focusing on high-impact features, and define success metrics that bring clarity and direction for all initiatives
  • Lead execution: Drive seamless execution by coordinating timelines, milestones, cross-functional dependencies, and quality assurance for all product releases
  • Optimize the product lifecycle: Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), integrate continuous feedback, and rapidly iterate to enhance product value and user experience
  • Resource prioritization: Help allocate resources efficiently across initiatives while balancing hands-on execution with strategic product oversight

What you’ll need to thrive:

  • Experience: 3+ years in product management, data/marketing analytics, or a related field, especially in digital environments
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field
  • Product vision: Proven expertise in creating impactful roadmaps and delivering value through data-driven marketing products
  • Technical & analytical acumen: Strong analytical skills with familiarity in experimentation, reporting, and data science applications
  • Stakeholder engagement: Outstanding collaboration skills to align and effectively communicate cross-functional initiatives
  • Storytelling: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences
  • Project management: Proficiency in agile methodologies using tools like Jira; experience managing end-to-end development cycles from ideation to execution
  • Ownership mindset: A self-starting approach to deliver exceptional outcomes with high motivation and structured methods

Stand out with:

  • A solid understanding of digital marketing channels and analytics platforms
  • Broad business acumen with expertise in test-and-learn frameworks that drive revenue and growth
