Location: Singapore preferred

Package: CN1,100,000 - CN1,260,000 total annual package / US$160,139 - S$183,433 equivalent

About The Company

Our client is a high-growth premium tea beverage brand operating in the consumer-facing retail and hospitality sector, with ambitious plans to expand its footprint across the Asia Pacific region.

The business operates a store-led model similar to other scaled, multi-site beverage and quick-service concepts, combining strong brand appeal with a focus on franchise-led expansion, joint ventures, and market entry. It is now entering an important stage of regional expansion and is seeking a senior leader to help drive that growth across APAC.

The Opportunity

This is a senior, high-impact role sitting within the Property / Expansion function, reporting directly to the APAC Business Development Director.

The successful candidate will lead the identification, evaluation, negotiation, and onboarding of joint venture partners, master

franchisees, and strategic operators across APAC. The role combines commercial expansion, franchise development, market entry strategy, and real estate planning.

This opportunity is best suited to someone who has helped scale multi-site consumer brands across the region, ideally within food & beverage, retail, or hospitality.

We are looking for a commercially strong and strategically minded leader with a proven track record in APAC expansion.

Role & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Leading end-to-end partner acquisition across APAC, from market mapping and target identification through to negotiation and

onboarding
  • Identifying and securing high-quality franchisees, JV partners, and strategic investors
  • Developing the commercial and operating framework for regional franchise / JV expansion
  • Conducting feasibility studies, investment analysis, and competitive benchmarking for new market launches
  • Supporting store network planning and real estate strategy to ensure commercially strong rollout decisions
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful market entry and expansion execution
  • Monitoring partner and market performance, identifying opportunities for optimisation and further growth
  • Representing the business in senior-level commercial negotiations and expansion discussions
  • Leading and developing a regional team focused on growth enablement and partner success
  • Reporting regularly to leadership on pipeline progress, market performance, and expansion metrics

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will offer:
  • 8-10+ years experience in franchise development, business expansion, strategic partnerships, or market entry
  • Strong background within food & beverage, retail, or hospitality
  • Proven success delivering multi-market growth strategies across APAC
  • Experience acquiring and managing JV partners, franchisees, or master franchise operators
  • Strong understanding of property, real estate planning, network development, and store rollout
  • Excellent commercial judgement, negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong financial and analytical capability, including business case development and market assessment
  • Experience working in large, well-known consumer businesses would be highly beneficial
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on execution level

Particularly relevant backgrounds could include brands similar to KFC, McDonalds, Burger King, Starbucks, Costa, or comparable consumer expansion businesses.

Experience across Singapore, China, South East Asia, ANZ, UAE, Myanmar, or Cambodia would be of interest.
