Experienced Agricultural Machinery Operator

We’re looking for an experienced operator to join our busy agricultural contracting team for the upcoming season. We specialise inhay & silage, maize planting, and effluent spreading, with modern gear and a strong workload. The role includes: * Baling (round, square & conventional) * Silage operations & wrapping * Effluent spreading (tankers & systems) * Cultivation & general tractor work * Maize planting (John Deere 1750 or similar) You’ll need: * Minimum 3 years’ experience operating agricultural machinery * Solid experience in hay/silage work * Ability to work independently and handle long hours in peak season * Strong mechanical awareness Bonus if you have: * Effluent spreading experience * Experience operating on steep or challenging terrain * Maize planting experience Licence: * Class 2 required * Class 4 or 5 an advantage What we offer: * $34 – $38/hr (depending on experience) * Minimum 30 hours/week * Plenty of hours in season * Good gear, good team, solid operation Based in Wellsford – work across North Auckland region & some of Kaipara Apply now Send your CV and a quick summary of your experience.
