Electrical Engineer

 Seeking an experienced H1B Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and oversee the integration of electrical systems for industrial enclosures and power generation equipment. Ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, AutoCAD, and industry standards such as NEC and NFPA. Emergency Power Generation and Switchgear installation experience with knowledge of packaging of electrical equipment is an ideal fit for the right candidate. This position works daily with Caterpillar, Cummins, MTU & Schneider equipment. Must Have(s):

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 5+ years’ experience
• Experience with structural steel building fabrication and electrical equipment packaging.
• Knowledgeable in National Fire Protection Association/National Electrical Code. (Must be on resume)

Job Description: 

• Knowledge of Electrical Design and Drafting, to include Schematic & Diagram generation.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD 2015 to include Electrical (2017 Electrical a plus) and/or Mechanical.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD or similar
• Design and coordinate work with Drafters, Designers and Senior Designer
• Review Job Submittal packages, Customer furnished information to plan and design work
• Perform panel loading calculations and balancing for load centers, panelboards & switchboards, to include but not limited to wire/cable, conduit, and tray sizing.
• Compose Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Experience working with electrical equipment to include but not limited to generators, switchgear & UPS systems.
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret contract specifications and electrical drawing packages.
• Experience working in Accubid or similar estimating software is a plus
