We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to lead our kitchen team and create exceptional Indian dishes.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes including curries, biryanis, tandoori items, and street food.
Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control standards are met.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all food safety regulations.
Work efficiently to meet order demands, especially during peak hours.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and specials.
Monitor and manage inventory of spices, ingredients, and supplies.Qualifications:Cert III or IV in commercial cookeryProven experience as a cook specializing in Indian cuisine (2+ years preferred).
In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
Ability to prepare dishes from scratch with attention to detail and taste.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, especially tandoor and curry stations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
