We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing various wooden and composite structures. The successful applicant will be expected to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, ensuring all work meets safety standards and client specifications. Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble timber components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised joinery equipment
• Install wooden frameworks, fixtures, and fittings on-site in accordance with project plans and specifications
• Perform carpentry tasks including roofing, framing, and finishing works
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and components safely to facilitate efficient workflow
• Assist with construction painting, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, or roofing as required on various projects
• Follow detailed technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise measurements and cuts
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as masons, electricians, plumbers, and painters to complete projects seamlessly

Skills

• Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, or related trades
• Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, chisels, chisels etc.
• Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, sanders, and routers
• Knowledge of roofing techniques and heavy lifting procedures for safe handling of materials
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
• Familiarity with construction painting techniques and masonry work is advantageous
• Basic electrical experience or plumbing skills are desirable but not essential
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Excellent attention to detail coupled with a commitment to safety standards
