Project Manager

IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide. Our client is redesigning their entire web presence for their Agency for changing strategy and for an update to our websites accessibility. The contractor will work with the marketing and communications team, and the information technology team, under a project co-led by the directors of each function to deliver a redesigned web experience. While the contractor will work primarily with the Marketing and Technology teams, there will be ample opportunity for the contractor to engage with stakeholders for whom we are implementing this redesign. NOTE: Wisconsin residents only. No relocation allowed. This position will be hybrid, with two days working remotely, and three days working on-site at our offices on the UW-Madison campus. Location: Madison, WI Contract: 1 year Skills Required: 5+ years of experience in the following: Experience leading multidisciplinary technology projects from inception to completion Experience working with multiple stakeholders to develop strategic website projects on a defined timeline Experience working with multiple stakeholder teams to develop consensus on project progression Skills Desired A plus to have: Experience in healthcare, higher education, or scientific research environments Experience with multiple project management tools, such as Asana and Microsoft Project Experience engaging with stakeholders who may not be familiar with desired project methodologies *** Rate depends on experience *** Candidates authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
