Transport Refrigeration Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Mechanic Helper to join our team. As a Mechanic Helper, you will assist our experienced mechanics in performing repairs and maintenance on various vehicles and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in the automotive industry.***LMIA AVAILABLE******REEFER REPAIR KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED***Duties:
- Assist mechanics in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Clean and organize work areas and tools
- Retrieve parts and tools as needed
- Assist with disassembling and reassembling vehicle components
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environmentExperience:
- Previous experience working in an automotive or mechanical environment is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively-Ability To Handle Freon/Re-Charge Reefer Units-Thermo King/Carrier Unit Experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent time management skillsSkills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
