🚀 We’re Hiring: Senior Globalscape MFT Engineer (Consultant)
Wenty LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Globalscape MFT Engineer (Consultant) to design, implement, and support enterprise-grade Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions using Globalscape EFT. This is a 12-month consulting engagement with potential extension with one of our Financial Client, offering the opportunity to make a major impact in a leading enterprise environment.
📍 Location: Irvine, CA (Primary) | SNO, TX (Secondary) — Onsite, 5 days/week ⏳ Duration: 12 months contract (extendable) 🛂 Work Authorization: Open to H1B, U.S. Permanent Residents, and U.S./Canada Citizens (preferred) 📝 Interview Requirement: Locals strongly preferred — final round of interview must be attended in person

🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end-to-end MFT solutions using Globalscape EFT, DMZ Gateway, RAM agents, and AWE workflows.
- Define and implement high-availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
- Develop and secure file transfer workflows across internal and external systems (SFTP, FTP, FTPS, HTTPS).
- Integrate MFT with enterprise platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Kafka) and enable API-based automation.
- Provide L3 production support, RCA, patching, certificate management, and log maintenance.
- Ensure compliance through audits, access reviews, and upgrades.
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and dashboards (Confluence, JIRA).
- Train and coach internal team members on MFT best practices.
🛠 Required Skills
- Expert-level knowledge of Globalscape EFT Server, DMZ Gateway, AWE workflows, and performance tuning.
- Strong background in SFTP, FTP, FTPS, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, encryption/decryption, and key management.
- Deep understanding of OS, file systems, network adapters, throughput, bandwidth optimization.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Unix Shell, GitHub, and automation tools (Harness, Terraform, SLM).
- Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, DataDog) and incident response.
- Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
🎯 Experience Expectations
- 10+ years in IT, with 5+ years focused on MFT technologies.
- Proven success in designing and deploying enterprise-scale MFT solutions.
- Familiarity with audit, compliance, and access control frameworks.
