Applethwaite Green is based in Windermere, with the capacity for 27 residents, catering for Dementia, Old Age and Frailty. We are a hard-working and dedicated team, and we strive to ensure our home provides a safe, caring and homely environment for our residents.
Working within our Residential Care Setting your rota will typically involve working over 4 days per week, 365 day a year – this will include alternate weekends (as part of a set rota) and Bank Holidays.
Who we are looking for… Being part of a team to and understanding that the nature of the role will expect you to meet changing needs as they occur. Ensuring all domestic equipment is clean and in good working order. Cleaning materials are used and stored in compliance with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations (COSHH). You will be required to work weekends; you will also be expected to attend all training needed to develop skills to keep in line with CQC requirements.
