Optometrist

Optometrist - Full time or Part time MUST BE GOC REGISTERED WITH THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UKVision Executives are experts in international recruitment for the eyecare industry and we have partnered with a well established independent practice who are looking for an Optometrist to operate in Crewkerne, Somerset. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about optometry and eager to make a difference in the community. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team, state-of-the-art technology with higher levels of patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, with 30–45-minute testing times.
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, referring patients to specialists when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with Practice Managers and Practice Teams to ensure efficient operations and enhance patient satisfaction.
• Assist in growing the practices’ business by participating in marketing and promotional activities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of optical and hearing care trends and technology.
• Ensure compliance with General Optical Council (GOC) regulations and FODO guidelines.
• Equipment includes OCT, Optomap, Phoropter/Trial Frames.

What we are looking for:

• Registered Optometrist with the General Optical Council (GOC)
• Demonstrated experience in optometry, with a strong focus on patient care.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance clinical and commercial aspects of the role.
• Willingness to collaborate with practice managers and team members to grow the business.
• Tier 2 Visa sponsorship offered for GOC Registered Optometrists.
