Fitter/Turner

Fitter and Turner Duties and Responsibilities:· Repairing, maintaining and operating large pieces of machinery· Performing regular maintenance on machinery, diagnosing and repairing faults.· Grinding, cutting and shaping metal and other raw materials.· Monitoring the fabrication process carefully and making safe adjustments.· Working with and understanding forms, designs and patterns to determine the best materials and machine settings to fabricate a part.· Checking assembled metal parts for accuracy and fit using precise measuring tools.· Cutting, threading, bending and fitting hydraulic and pneumatic lines and pipes.· Erecting and assembling machines on site.· Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to prioritize and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.· Comply with all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.Hours of work- Monday to Friday 07:00AM to 04:00PM. Some weekend and after hours work as required.Requirements:· Relevant trade qualifications(required)· Full Drivers Licence (Required)· HR or MC licence (preferred· Current first-aid certificate (or ability to obtain within 3 months of employment)- Required· Forklift licence (preferred)*Appropriate Australian work visa or permission to work.Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:

• Fitter & Turner: 3 years (Preferred)
