Job Summary Reading Hospital is seeking a pediatrician to join our outpatient practice, The Children's Health Center. Qualifications Board certified/eligible in pediatrics and ability to obtain PA license. The school opened in 2021 and is currently accepting enrollment applications for the second class in 2024. Highlights: You will join a group of well-trained Pediatricians who enjoy teaching residents and medical students both in the office and the nursery while caring for a primarily underserved population The group composed of 5 Pediatricians and 2 CRNPs The office is located on the West Reading campus just one block from the Hospital and less than one mile from the new Drexel-Tower Health Medical School Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. On-call rotation will be 1 in approximately every 5 evenings and weekends, on average, with 1stcall Family Medicine senior resident coverage for answering service calls Inpatient teaching rounds in the nursery approximately every 5thweek with Allopathic and Osteopathic Family Medicine residents and medical students rotating in Pediatrics The hospital’s Pediatric services include: around the clock in-house Neonatology coverage for deliveries and consults; a dedicated Pediatrics service in the Emergency Department; 24/7 Pediatrics Hospitalists; some ambulatory Pediatrics specialty services A supportive administration that is providing the resources to grow the service The Benefits We Offer: Competitive compensation package Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance Retirement savings plan with employer automatic contribution and employer match.
