About the Role The University of Oxford is seeking an exceptional Senior Programme Manager to lead the delivery of Halo — a transformative CRM programme designed to create a connected, data-driven digital experience across the collegiate University. This high-profile role will drive the implementation of innovative products working with senior stakeholders, technical specialists, and strategic delivery partners to realise long-term institutional change. You will bring proven experience delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes within complex organisations, alongside outstanding leadership, stakeholder engagement, and financial management skills. This is an exciting opportunity to shape one of the University’s most significant digital investments and play a key role in delivering a more integrated and user-centred future.
About You - Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex transformation programmes, ideally involving CRM platforms or enterprise-wide digital systems.
- Significant experience of operating at a senior level within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, with the ability to influence and build credibility with executive and senior leadership teams.
- Demonstrable experience of managing substantial budgets, financial planning, and delivering value for money.
- Experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams across technical, data, and business change domains.
- Experience of supplier and commercial management, including working with strategic delivery partners and managing high-value contracts.
- Outstanding leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong strategic thinking capability, with the ability to translate vision into clear, deliverable plans and outcomes.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity and complexity and operate effectively in a pressurized, fast-pace environment.
