• Be fully qualified as a Light Vehicle Mechanic
• Hold a minimum Certificate III in Automotive Technology (or equivalent)
• Have a minimum of 1 year of workshop experience
• Have proven experience working on hybrid vehicles
• Be able to diagnose and repair hybrid system faults
• Have a current full driver's licence
• Be punctual, well presented, and highly motivated
• Be able to work independently
• Have attention to detail
• Be physically fit
• Own tools will be highly regarded

• General servicing and repairs of light vehicles
• Hybrid vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Diagnosis of hybrid battery and electrical system faults
• Engine and gearbox removal and installation
• Timing belt/chain replacement
• Suspension and brake repairs
• Fleet vehicle maintenance
• Assisting other team members when required
• Supporting the training of apprentices

Selection processShortlisted applicants will be required to complete an on-field practical test.The assessment will involve diagnosing and repairing various vehicle problems, including hybrid-related faults, before a final employment decision is made.Please do not apply unless you meet all of the following

• Certificate III in Automotive Technology (minimum)
• Minimum 1 year workshop experience
• Experience with hybrid vehicles
• Full driver's licence
• Current Police Check
• Willingness to complete a practical field test
