Crane Operator

The Role: This role is responsible for general crane operations for example but not limited to; hire works, site based precast installs, civil and piling site works. As a crane operator you will be responsible for the safe operation, control, and maintenance of the crane, carrying out Rigger-Dogman duties from time to time, and assisting with or completing lifting plans. Your Skills & Experience: The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, ideally have the following skills: • Minimum 3+years’ experience on a construction site. • Experience working with Precast Panels is an advantage. • Experience with Mobile Cranes. • Unit Standard 3795 is an advantage. • NZ Drivers Licence. • Class 4 Licence. Additional Attributes: • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards teamwork. • Fluent in English and able to communicate well with others. • Applicants for the position will need to be legally allowed to work in NZ.
