We support high-volume delivery networks and subcontract with some of the UK’s largest transport and national logistics providers.With expansion underway — including the upcoming launch of our Private Hire Vehicle (PHV) rental division — we’re seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive with a flair for both strategic growth and operational insight. About the RoleThis is a hybrid role that combines client acquisition, contract development, and hands-on support in transport operations. If you understand logistics from the ground up and thrive in a fast-paced commercial environment, this role is your next big move.You’ll work directly with our leadership team to grow our client base, enhance service offerings, and ensure top-tier execution across our operations. Key Responsibilities Business Development

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in logistics, freight forwarding, transport consultancy, and supply chain management
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
• Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, pitches, tenders, and presentations to showcase Roadx’s capabilities
• Attend industry events, networking forums, and client meetings to promote Roadx and expand brand visibility
• Negotiate contracts and pricing structures to achieve both client satisfaction and commercial targets
• Monitor client satisfaction and service performance, working with consultants and operations staff to implement improvements
• Stay up to date with transport regulations, market trends, and technology to maintain a competitive edge

Transport & Operational Support

• Assist in the planning and coordination of daily logistics operations, including fleet scheduling and dispatch
• Monitor delivery timelines, route efficiency, and driver performance
• Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively with drivers, clients, or suppliers
• Support peak-period execution with hands-on coordination and communication
• Help align service levels with customer expectations and regulatory requirements

• Confident in client-facing and negotiation situations
• Organised, goal-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Familiar with logistics and transport industry practices (any product type)
• Technically comfortable with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and dispatch tools
• A proactive team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
